Todd Guyn is an IFMGA mountain guide with over 30 years of experience. He worked for 25 years at the largest helicopter skiing company in the world where he served as a guide, and laterally as the mountain safety manager. In this role he managed 12 lodges, 120 guides, and 6000 guests annually. This included risk management, hazard assessment, operational protocols and training in decision making. The role also encompassed accident response and incident investigation. He is a past technical director for the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides and worked for over a decade as an instructor for the Training and Assessment Program. He currently works as a freelance mountain guide, decision educator and a risk consultant.

Stephen Holeczi is an IFMGA mountain guide living in Canmore, Canada. He has 25 years of experience managing risk in mountain environments, including North and South America, Europe, and Nepal. Since 2010 he has been working for Parks Canada as a visitor safety specialist in Banff, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks. There, he is responsible for backcountry search and rescue, public avalanche bulletins, and avalanche mitigation for highways. He is also an instructor for the ACMG’s Training and Assessment Program.

Geoff Osler is an IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations) mountain guide living in Banff, Canada. He has spent 20 years making decisions in the mountains as an avalanche professional and a guide ranging from heliskiing in British Columbia to guiding backcountry skiing, rock, ice and alpine climbing throughout western Canada and internationally. He also has a background in avalanche control and forecasting for ski areas as well as safety work for film and industrial projects. Geoff is currently the operations manager for the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) Training and Assessment Program. In this role he is responsible for overall risk management, instructor training, curriculum development and oversight, and day to day operations. He also works in the field as an instructor/examiner in all of the disciplines.
